I know the dog in this video and his owner. You can find the so called "Kangal phenotype" in whole central asia, e.g. some Koochee dogs are similar like Kangal dogs. I've found such kind of dogs in Tusheti in Georgia. But these aren't Kangal dogs. There is a difference between the Malak and the "BSD" and I think, both breeds have nothing to do with Kangal dog origins. Malak:  What do you think about the dog on the left?  No Malak, no Boz and for sure no Kangal dog. |

I see kangal-dog.de there are realy many breeds "Kangal phenotype" in Turkey.Some of them as Malakli are not used for livestock guarding but for home guarding and fightings.As the dog fights are very old tradition may be and these wrestling breeds as Malakli are very ancient.Strange for me is that many of the Turkish LGD breeds "Kangal phenotype"I think are larger than the aborigenal Kangal.In fact is the Boz just one of the many regional types LGD or is a just fighting dog as Malakli?

There is no historical LGD breed or type in Turkey called "Boz Shepherd Dog".
As I know the origins of the "BSD" are dogs from Nevsehir, Tuzlukoy, Urfa (so called "Guregh").
The most of the fighting dogs in Turkey are crossbreeds.

Maybe, but I don't know, if we can compare the BOZ Kennels with the Red Star or other kennels under the leadership of the Red Army.
There were concrete targets by creating the breeds Caucasian Shepherd and CAO.
The scientifically based experiences will reveal the breed most convenient for us, but at the moment our orientation, should be directed on our Caucasian sheep-dogs and our northern Laikas. Having taken in a basis endurance, unpretentiousness and mobility of the given dogs (the last does not concern to the Caucasian sheep-dogs) and having considered their full acclimatization, we can expect to leave in the near future from the German market and to work exclusively on new our Russian breeds.

I don't know, which kynological targets the BOZ breeders have.

интересни кончета имат зер са аборигенни и те
като гледам тоя с коня гонеше чужди кучета,хем бяха по малко ,ама неговите по калпави ...къде кангал къде не баш ,другите бяха яки
